Services

Welcome to Painted Petal Promises. Let me show you a few examples of my work and how I    can turn a photograph into a piece of original art, to treasure forever.

A painting may be something you want to commission yourself, as part of your wedding planning.

It could also be something to add to your gift list, as a perfect present for a wedding guest to buy.

I can offer gift vouchers from £20, so a number of guests can collectively buy you a unique momento.

I no longer post paintings framed, as the glass does not travel well and delivery companies will not offer insurance. Artwork will be carefully packaged flat or in a cardboard tube.

It can be collected from TS21 or delivered locally (for a small fee), in which case, framing options are available. You can always collect at any wedding fairs I attend too.

Here are the 3 types I currently offer, with lots of variation possible within each, to give a  truly individual design.

Please have a browse through my page and get in touch, if you would like to discuss your bespoke bouquet painting.

Acrylic Paintings

Acrylic paints are layered to produce a more textured, vibrant picture, on a canvas. The canvas is first painted in a base colour of your choice. This can even be using your favourite shade of emulsion.

A huge variety of sizes and shapes of canvas are available, including circular, so please contact me for prices, with your ideas.

However, an appx 30 x 40 cm box canvas would have an introductory price of £100.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work?

Once you have sent me a selection of good quality photos, I will discuss different options and specific requests.

On receipt of a 30% deposit, I will begin the design and keep you updated with progress pictures, to check you are happy with how it's coming along.

The completed picture can be collected, delivered in the local area, or posted.

How long does it take to complete a custom piece?

The time to complete a custom piece varies based on complexity and size. Typically, it takes between 2 to 4 weeks.

Can I chose a size and background colour?

Yes, all items are discussed at the planning stage. Watercolour and pastel would generally be a minumum size of approx 30x30 or 30x40 cms. Acrylics can start from 20x30 cms.

Pastelmat paper comes in a variety of colours, which can be chosen to complement the bouquet and your decor.

Can the picture come in a frame?

Yes, but only if it is to be collected or delivered locally. I no longer ask external couriers to deliver products containing glass. If you would like a frame, please let me know during initial discussions.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, they can be posted to guests, allowing a single or number of them to contribute to the picture.

Do I need to reserve a date?

Not unless the painting is needed for a particular date. However, you may wish to pay your 30% deposit to reserve a slot during the summer wedding season.

Is postage included?

Postage and packing is an additional cost and varies, depending on the service you use. Delivery is free within a 5 mile radius of TS21 and may be possible a little further at a small additional cost. Collection is also available form either TS21, or at a wedding fair I am attending.

How long do introductory prices last?

Paintings commisioned, with a deposit paid before December 31st 2024, can be done so at introductory prices.

Vouchers purchased before that date can also be used for paintings completed throughout 2025.

To take advantage of 2024 introductory prices, reserve by 31/12/24, with a 30% deposit.

If you are buying vouchers as a wedding guest, please ask for INTRO24 to be added as the issue details. The introductory prices will then be upheld throughout 2025.
